I didn’t read the book and I probably never will. They played the Reese Witherspoon interview/trailer before the movie.
Free large popcorn and Free large drink for my birthday. Free movie with Unlimited Subscription. Both people at the counter wished me a “Happy Birthday!”

I had a seat empty on either side of me. Like anyone I picked the best available reserved seat. The blue light went on during the movie and I wasn’t sure what to do. All I could think of was “chair malfunction” and put my feet down and back up with the reclining seat.
Popcorn was loud. Movie wasn’t.
I had a choice between this movie and Thor: Love and Thunder (or Minions: The Rise of Gru) The trailer to this was scary. I wasn’t thrilled by any of them really.
And so I was really surprised! It isn’t a scary movie at all! It’s more like a public service announcement to make sure the girls today make the right choices.
And the witches laugh. Kya got my birthday cake too.
Enjoyed seeing David Strathairn from Good Night, and Good Luck as the lawyer.
