Classic Nerds

 So yesterday I spent quite a bit of time checking on the 15 most nerdiest songs of the 80s from a Classic Nerds email and realized I had completely missed the Revenge of the Nerds movies in 1984, 1987, 1992 and 1994.

Because I’m not SAT Fraternity and Sorority! It was not my genre.

(I did see Animal House and “not my genre”)

They’re giving away two Corvettes with a donation. One a 2023, one vintage with a double park (to store them in the garage) 2 days of driving lessons and money for taxes! I didn’t choose to participate but I still played it out:

Then somehow I got the YouTube news about the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2023 streaming on Disney which led to the Stevie Nicks/Elton John performance (?) which led to his collaboration album? 

I have no idea what happened. Bernie. Stolen Car I had never heard.

Elton John was my first male solo artist favorite. I had four of his albums. Captain Fantastic, Caribou, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Rock of the Westies.

Merging Holidaze

 Scavenger Hunt done and onto The Maze. I read I’ll be there for awhile.

I also finished Mason’s Holiday Mystery but it’s early so the items past 45 will still help.

The Fa La La La Follies are half way done. The stage replaced the pirate ship and is really cute for a concert.

I received level 30 so they had a celebration Christmas card of them caroling!

Kodiak and Chi-Chi Christmas

 So my hand is on the mend and I’m learning all the good Norwex things (from my Black Friday purchase) and I get a text message that Kodiak is having a 3 day sale.

 I withheld on the 1st day but they had a good deal on Oatmeal Day 2 and cups Day 3. I ordered flapjacks and muffins and 1 brownie to try in the cups.

Taste test time.

So far I love the Maple Brown Sugar Peak kind with 20g of protein! More later…

(Awesome Kodiak Christmas sweater… if I was spending Christmas the normal way I would wear it!)

Meanwhile Christmas is kind of boozie for me. I could not see splurging on Baileys this year but purchased Chi-Chi Mudslide instead.

I have 2 Christmas Cards so far! They were on my list too. 

I bought Peanuts-on-the-front cards at DaySpring to send. 

Once again I don’t know what happened on Merge Mansion. I woke up this morning and I only got 9/10 levels on Deck the Halls Clear the Webs (the 3 tier board game)

Scavenger Hunt regular game on hold. Mason is still helping me with Holiday Mystery.

Now we’re Fa La La La Christmas Caroling.

A heads up from EW email. For April 2024 release

 I don’t remember a time when there wasn’t a Civil War in America.

I do admit America has never “looked” like this except for isolated incidents.

I guess Julia Roberts had an interview where she went through her characters and answered the “where are they now? question. That was funny.

The 20 best Christmas Movies were listed and I only counted 7 movies I would even rank! (plus all those Hallmark movies I watched over the years of course. But they were talking theater releases) Two that were missing were Home Alone 2 and Grisham’s Christmas with the Kranks so I think I would be able to only make a top 10 list.

Bummer… there has to be more of them!

 My hand hurts. It is so hard to be one handed and deal with these stoopid witches 24/7!!!!! Especially with the witchcraft in my right arm! The bruise is healing on the underside but per “shift” (illegal) it is blowing up and then looking better again.

Merge Mansion is a blur and it’s very Holiday oriented so it should be my fun. 

Fishing was added again to play at the same time as Setting up Xmas (like Rufus game) and both are over.

Advent Chocolate Calendar and Holiday Mystery is still going on. Thank goodness Mason is helping me and decorated Grandma’s house.

I’m on the boardwalk of the Pier and half way done. It’s snowing!

Now we’re playing Deck the Halls Clear the Webs! I am clapping my hands in spirit!

They have been here 24/7 to keep me from paying my bills or sending my Christmas Cards or getting my trash to the curb for the “guy across the street” who is really the person holding them hostage! Get out of my house!

Chocolate Advent Calendar disappeared yesterday and I finished Pier and started Scavenger Hunt.

I have today to finish Deck the Halls Clear the Webs. A very fun 3 tier board game.

Bills and Christmas Cards are done. Only one more to mail.

 EW email today announced Sebastian Stan playing a young Donald Trump (ie with his wife Ivana) in a new movie called The Apprentice (which I gather is Donald’s journey as one) is “Sad”?

Even though most would say I’m a Republican living a Democratic life I’ve never voted. I took Government 101 in high school and was disillusioned early by things like Watergate and JFK behind the grassy knoll type stuff. Peanut? Reaganomics and are the Clinton’s insane?

hmmm… it’s the best analytics to divide the arguing over him (for those that do) Kind of like “what made him like this?”

We’ve had plenty of movies like that. It’s the only time I remember about him… during the 70s and 80s.

Which is fine because I was given a mini Enviro and Window Cloth as a sample.

The other 4 items were over a four year period of time of thinking about it (about $85) I was asked by my mentor - “are you here for the money or the discount?”

Both. In Direct Sales you have to want the product. When you look around and have all you need you can move on. I don’t worry about it much.

I did the math and $42 retail a month (not counting if I have to purchase the kit) is my estimate as far as purchasing.

It’s either that or the hackers changing my photos so chill. I’m trying to keep them out of my house barking that they don’t believe that I purchased a Starter Kit.

Ta da! All of this wonderfulness arrived in the mail by UPS in 2 days for $9.99 plus tax!

Now I’m in the earning my kit phase. They give us 90 days and if I don’t make it I will be paying the company $200.

Day 6

The fingers are getting more flexible but I’m still feeling my wrist. I could not turn it to the underside. 

That’s not dirt! The bruise is insane. It grew overnight in width

I quit GrubHub+

 I quit LGS and they will be getting the email this morning. They’re all doing the happy dance throughout the nation. 

I ordered Christmas Cards to torture others at DaySpring and should be getting them soon. I count six to send and Satan is telling me “don’t bother” but it’s my thing. 

I have Christmas cards and one Chanukah card hung on my walls 365 from the last nine years. I don’t apologize. This is my house not yours!

Home Alone was watched by me when it came out. Home Alone 2 I watched last December when I was being tortured in Cincy, Chicago and Indiana after my mom died. The witches want to see the turtle dove my mom sent and with one hand (day 5) it is not going to happen!

Bummer! It wasn’t about the Christmas song Partridge in a Pear Tree but evil-ly devised by my mom and son!

She was very clever though my mom! She had my son write the letter on the back of this!

The good news is the closest I got to Pigeons was downtown when I lived above a candy shop and he remembered me coming to Grandma’s house to smoke outside, take a shower, eat dinner with them and watch TV downstairs with or without him watching with me. The closest he got to my apartment was outside in the car.

Then I moved with the promise of sending for him after I got married in 2000. That didn’t work! I last saw him at the age of 14 when I gather the government considered him emancipated!

I have to pay my bills 

The “coven leaders” keep me up 24 hours stating they want my money.

So Pinterest is updated with Day 4 of 12 and at 2am I tell them my day is OVER.

I did go through the missed emails and yes that included EW emails. 

News that I paid attention to:

De Niro’s speech was censored and of course he was angry. 

Shannen Doherty is battling cancer (don’t filter her through me) All I did was watch a TV show about Beverly Hills!

and Frances Sternhagen who I last saw on Sex and the City as Charlotte’s pathetic mother in law has passed away at 93. Thank goodness she did other things as an actress!

The rest of you don’t matter.

Day 4 The tips of my fingers from the knuckle are looking more normal (depends on the shift) more movement (I can move my thumb!) but the underside is one big bruise

Gingerbread Jamboree

I think Merge Mansion might have some overzealous fans/demons connected to my body. The previous game had a cast in it as a Maddie fortune from Lady Voyance so they’ll make it true?

Whatever. I fell on my hand trying to protect my tail bone and no… other things attached to me do not make me graceful. I have to constantly try to work past them physically emotionally and spiritually. The world looks at that different than I do too. It’s a cartoon game about renovation.

I am not sinning praying for their death or threatening them. Spiritual Warfare 2023. And it’s against the law to be attached to my body. And my brain. And rape my pores and crotch and elbow and knee and foot with a machine? It’s a crime!

I talked myself out of urgent care and this is day three. I can move my fingers “kind of”. X-rays, cast or surgery is not my thing. I can’t even bring myself to put ice on it, sling it or ace bandage it. 

All I can do is continue to tell them to detach. PERMANENTLY. I’m in enough pain without the hand being hurt.

Meanwhile I am making Gingerbread cookies in the Gingerbread Jamboree and we have a Holiday Mystery with Mason and an Advent Chocolate Box  That’s better for me! Grandma Ursula has snow!

A few years ago I made Gingerbread cookies from a mix. A company I’m no longer with. 

I saved on Pinterest two recipes for “from scratch” from Delish and House of Nash Eats trying to get my courage up but I’ve deleted my results. I had never made them before and was intimidated.

First: no molasses! I substituted dark brown sugar and it worked! The tip the pros gave me to use two parchment papers to put the dough in between was the best tip ever! Keep the dough cold.

I cheated a second time by using red and white Betty Crocker cookie icing in a bag but they tasted wonderful. Not brittle or crumbly. 

I can make them from scratch another year.
